Overview
Several departments that the CLAS Linux Group serves have their own bigjobs aliases:

Finding bigjobs Machines
Use the nslookup command to find which machines are bigjobs machines for your department. For example,
nslookup csbigjobs
nslookup will return a list of addresses for machines in the alias. In the example output below, each "Address:" line that immediately follows a "Name:" line is the address of a csbigjobs machine.

Name: csbigjobs.cs.uiowa.edu

See the document Starting a Remote Session for information about remote connections to bigjobs machines. If you are connecting from off-campus, you must first connect to linux.divms.uiowa.edu and then connect to the bigjobs machines from that workstation.
