Compute Cluster Service Description
CLAS has several nodes in the Argon HPC cluster for use in instruction. There are 3 nodes available for Chemistry majors and several nodes available for students in CLAS for instructional/class use. Faculty should email request@divms.uiowa.edu with a course number and we will work with the HPC team to provision accounts in the Argon HPC for class use. Account access will be terminated at the end of the course.
The CLAS Linux Group of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences maintains several departmental compute clusters. Each cluster provides a multinode parallel computing environment. Access to each cluster is generally restricted to some subset of faculty, staff and students of the relevant department.
